It's amazing how differently things look up close. These are macro shots of the interior and exterior of a cantaloupe. They were shot with a Nikon D300S, 105mm macro lens, 200 ISO, 4 seconds @ f32

You guessed it! It's the stamen of a rose. This was my first attempt at a Macro shot. It presented some challenges but once I work the kinks out, I think I'm going to enjoy Macro Photography.
This was the lighting set up for the shot above. I used a Nikon D300S with a 55mm Macro Lens.

What is that?
This is a Macro shot of a pink grapefruit. It was shot with a 55mm Macro lens.
I shot this in my home studio with one light. The grapefruit is not pictured here because it was consumed shortly afterwards.
